Agreement

These Terms govern your access to Lulochan, an AI assisted Japanese learning service available through lulochan.com and app.lulochan.com. By accessing or using Lulochan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lulochan. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person and may not be shared or transferred without permission.

Trial, subscriptions, and billing

New accounts receive one seven day, no card required trial of Lulochan Pro. Continued access to Pro features requires a paid subscription. Lulochan Pro costs $19 per month unless a different price is displayed at checkout. Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record and processes payments, applicable taxes, invoices, and billing details.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel through the billing portal and retain access through the end of the paid period. Fees are nonrefundable except where required by law or stated during checkout. We may change prices with advance notice before the change applies to a future billing period.

Fair use

“Unlimited” features are intended for normal personal learning. We may apply reasonable rate limits or restrict automated activity, account sharing, abusive behavior, or unusually high usage that threatens service availability or affects other learners.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Lulochan a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service. You must have the right to submit your content and must not upload unlawful or rights infringing material.

AI generated content

Lulochan uses third party AI systems to generate conversations, lessons, evaluations, images, and voice output. AI output may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You should verify important information. Lulochan is a learning aid and does not guarantee fluency, exam results, or any specific learning outcome.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the service unlawfully or violate another person’s rights.
• Upload malware, harmful content, spam, or content you do not have permission to use.
• Probe, scan, disrupt, or test the service without authorization.
• Circumvent security, rate limits, access controls, billing, or trial restrictions.
• Create accounts or access the service through automated means without permission.
• Resell, share, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except where the law expressly permits it.

Lulochan content and service

Lulochan and its licensors retain rights in the application, branding, software, designs, and service content, excluding content you submit. These Terms do not grant permission to copy or commercially use those materials.

Third party services

Lulochan depends on third party providers, including AI, hosting, payment, email, and monitoring providers. Their services may have separate terms. We are not responsible for outages or errors outside our reasonable control.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Lulochan, other users, or third parties, or when these Terms are violated. You may stop using Lulochan and cancel your subscription at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lulochan is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error free content, or a particular learning result. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lulochan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will apply after the updated version is posted or otherwise communicated as required by law. Questions may be sent to support@lulochan.com.
